Team Martinez visits Monticello in Virginia (2012)

  

 

Monticello is the historic plantation home of Thomas Jefferson. He was the principal author of the United States Declaration of Independence, third President of the United States, and founder of the University of Virginia. The plantation was originally 5,000 acres, with extensive cultivation of tobacco and mixed crops, managed with slave labor.
