Team Martinez visits New Orleans (2012-2017)

   

While in New Orleans, we took advantage of riding the old street cars running along the St. Charles line.

Beignets (fried donut/pastry) sprinkled with powered sugar, along with a cup f coffee….now, that’s a New Orleans delight…. Debbie is pictured in front of the world famous Cafe Du Mond, the place for beignets…

During our stay in New Orleans, we stayed at the historic Magnolia Mansion which is in the beautiful Garden District.

World War II Museum

     

Higgins boats were engineered and manufactured in New Orleans. These floating vessels were vital in transporting men, supplies, and heavy machinery in ocean waters – such as tanks….
