  2. Wow. Just wow. I mean really. Why oh why?

    • What can be difficult is judging a person (s) for the time and views that an individual lived in. This permits us to understand decisions, attitudes, and thoughts of those individuals of the past. After all, it’s easier for us to look back at the past and judge. The challenge, as historians, is understanding the climate of the time. A Primary source is an excellent source for glimpses of the past. I think we can all agree that the Indian Removal Acts were tragic on the Native American population as well as a blemish on America’s history. So we learn to live…Tomorrow can always be better. That is our ultimate challenge.
